Rushmore Recreational Complex is being fully renovated. The basketball court is being restripped, and adding new poles and hoops. The playground will be a rubberized surface in the "free play" area, the playset and swings will be multi-age and include musical features. Kiddie pools are being replaced with a "Splash Pad" which will be safer tor younger children.
Other parks in the area are Bryant Playground, Hannah Atkins Playground, and James Sherman Park.
